HuronTel Donates $200,000 to Support MRI Campaign at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital
LUCKNOW, ON – Friday, May 1st, 2026 – The Magnetic Moments MRI campaign at the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital received a significant boost on Friday with a $200,000 contribution from HuronTel, presented during a cheque presentation with staff in Lucknow. This generous donation pushed the total raised to date to $2,596,089.
The donation, made in support of bringing MRI services to Huron County and the surrounding region, helps move the campaign closer to its goal of providing local access to advanced diagnostic imaging. Once installed, the MRI machine will reduce the need for patients and families across Huron and Bruce Counties to travel long distances for essential care and significantly reduce lengthy wait times for an MRI scan.
